We are a collection of our tools.

Every designer has a stash of websites, plugins and little tools that shape how they work. They make a workflow feel personal, and they add a bit of flair to everything we make. We all collect them differently: bookmarks, notes, that one tab that never gets closed.

I wanted a place to put mine, and a way to see what everyone else is using.

Because in the end, our tools and workflows are where so much of our inspiration comes from. They help us build better, smarter and cleaner.

Isomaker is an effort to bring those collections together in one place, and to make discovering them feel like play. Right now so much of finding things means asking an AI or wading through a sea of generated sameness. I wanted to build in a different direction.

So here’s a world you can wander. Every building is a tool. Every district has its favourites. And you’re invited to add yours.

Let’s make things fun again, and bring a little of that childlike curiosity back into our work.
